TOTALLY MAGICALLY INCEDIBLY AWESOME!!! This room is EVERYTHING is promises and even much more!
Good God girl thank you sooooo much for this incredibly brillant room!!! It was so worth the wait!!
The textures are lovely beginning from the diverse textures for the wooden doors and shelves( different types of wood used) to the accurate shop signs ( they look like in the movie!!) to the stone floor and walls of the alley, even the famous brickwall through which one enters is present( though not perfectly sharpend on close up)! The position of the shops is a accurate as is the design of the unique shop windows withthe huge glass fronts. ( it would be really amazing if one or two of those could be turned in see-through, but are just simply brilliant already!)Furthermore the incredibly brilliant designer of this masterpiece even thought of Knockturn Alley(an addition of the sign for Knockturn at the beginning of the Alley/steps would be cool XD)!!! This part of Harry Potter Diagon Alley can be found at about the middle of Diagon Alley, when one takes the Flight of steps leading down into the darker part of the magical world of shops, where there can be found two further shops, probably selling some dark artefacts, such as a Hand of Glory or other illegal magical items ;).
Right in the middle of the whole is Gringotts Wizarding Bank, towering 2 storeys high- with actually REBUILT!! columns, doors and signs, and even the white marblefront of the highest building in Diagon Alley was thought of!!
As an addition the Alley is decorated witha picture of Hagrid and Harry in Diagon Alley, at the far end, creating the illusion of an never ending Diagon Alley and being right in the middle of the Alley/Movie!! ( though Borgin and Burke`s is a shop in Knockturn Alley, I believe- perhaps the sign might be changed with one of the two shops down there?- i know I am over accurate =S )
Summing it all up, the detailed textures, the perfect colours, the combination of unique architecture, positioning and choice of fabrics makes this room an extraordinarily unique and magical one. Even if somebody is no Harry Potter fan this room may as well serve as a lovely version of a medieval marketplace or little town.
For every Harry Potter Fan, though , This room is just so unbelievably cool!
Everyone who always wanted to take a walk through Diagon Alley will love this, they can add some potions, brooms, wands, clothes and other magical items to sell them at the shops.. or how about some goblins to go with Gringotts..or some owls to be sold at Eeylops Owl Emporium..a lovely Gilderoy Lockhart Furniture and some magical books at Florish and Blotts( the Monsterous Book of Monsters?!!) ;) ?!
This room offers everything and still leaves room for everyones individual imagination!
