the mesh is perfect. it really is a flashbang and not just a re-textured grenade that kind of resembles one. if you want any further proof this is the real deal just give it a toss, the sound is excellent and recreates the sensation of ringing ears every well. I love the way the grenades look on the vest and I really like how when you draw a grenade it stays out until you reholster it. this is a top notch piece of equipment
