imvu crash

my imvu is crashing constantly whenever i run it i tried all the version the latest version says download failed and the version crashes before login plz help me

i run imvu constantly but at the same time every day imvu knocks me and all my friends out of the clinet with this new officail update , can u plz sort it out cuz it is becoming very annoying tbh . Sad

Uninstall IMVU completely and download IMVU from fr.imvu.com/download.php. Do not use the old installer, this is a different installer entirely as it is the full installer and not the streaming one which is common during updates.

As for the crashing, you need to try to clear the cache first. Go to Settings, click "Advanced" and click "clear cache". If that does not work clear the cache manually. To learn how to clear cache manually read here.

I'm having this problems too but when i go to fr.imvu.com/download.php and download the latest version. I open the client and it still crashes. So i right click the client to go to the folder. I go to the updater and run it as administrator and the only file that's not updating is dbghelp.dll its still at 2008.

It's very simple, and was easy to find. It's a download and even if you download it and update it, it will not crash... well it worked for me, and every download crashed. I downloaded Imvu 463.0 it's an old download, but updates into the latest version and doesn't crash.

Btw my computer is a Window XP, so if it doesn't work for yours it may be your Framework, or the version of your computer, but Window 7 usually works with any download.

I have the newest windows and a pc.
I just joined so its heartbreaking i cant get on while i want to.

hi i just format my computer 2 days ago and tried to download imvu, few times it said download failed but than it started download and when it completed downloa it keeps crashing even not open login window its just keeps crash each time i tried to open than today i again format my computer to see if it can solve the problem and but now this time its same problem occur download failed tell me whats going on and what i do to fix it i cant understand
